Calvin Harris worried about Fifty Shades Of Grey

Rita Ora's boyfriend Calvin Harris is reportedly worried that she might appear naked in her upcoming film Fifty Shades of Grey.

Ora will feature as Mia, Christian Grey's adopted sister, in the movie version of EL James' best-selling erotic novel.

The 23-year-old, who has been dating Harris since May 2013, admitted he had had a meeting with her father and brother about the role.

When asked by The Sun if she appears nude in the movie, she responded: "Nope! Calvin, my dad and my brother had a group meeting to worry about it. I leave that to the main characters."

Meanwhile, in an interview with The Breakfast Club on America's Power 105.1 FM, Ora detailed her bedroom antics, similar to those depicted in the book turned movie.

"I mean, I like a whip. This is why 'Fifty Shades' is perfect for me because I really love the book. But I like unexpected stuff. A tiny bit of [pain], not too much," she said.

Previously, Ora had praised leading lady Dakota Johnson in an interview with MTV News.

The 24-year-old daughter of actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson is playing Anastasia Steele in the film opposite Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey).

"She's just so gorgeous and it kind of distracts you a little bit," she said. "But I mean she's an amazing actress so I'm learning things from her. It's always a good time, you don't want to work under a pressured environment, especially when you're making something creative. I would do it all over again."

Fifty Shades of Grey will be released in cinemas on Valentine's Day 2015.

Ryan Tandy Dead

FOUR and a half years ago, Ryan Tandy was on top of the world.

He had just played in Melbourne’s NRL grand final-winning side in 2009.

About 2pm today, the disgraced former forward was found dead from a drug overdose at his parents’ home at Saratoga on the NSW Central Coast.

News of the match-fixer’s death shocked former teammates and opponents with tributes posted on social media for the NRL journeyman.

“I am just numb. Just numb,” former Storm and Bulldogs teammate Steve Turner sais.

“He was just such a likeable character, the life of the party. A bit of a joker and just someone we all liked to have around.

“We played in the 2009 premiership team and then when they asked about him coming up to the `Dogs, I was all for it.

“It is just sad that he might be remembered for all the wrong reasons.”

Tandy, who had a gambling problem, left Melbourne for the Bulldogs during the 2010 season only months after winning the NRL premiership which was later stripped from the Storm for salary cap breaches.

His life started to spiral out of control not long afterwards. Early in a match between the Bulldogs and North Queensland in August 2010, he dropped the ball and then deliberately gave away a penalty in front of his team’s posts.

He was found to have placed bets on the Cowboys scoring the first points of the match with a penalty goal.

Tandy was banned for life from the NRL for match-fixing.

He returned to rugby league for French club Pia Donkeys in 2012 despite calls for his registration to be cancelled.

This year, he was again in the headlines for the wrong reasons.

Tandy was accused of being the “hired muscle” in the kidnapping of a man in January on the NSW Central Coast over a drug debt worth tens of thousands of dollars.

He had been due in court next month.

Turner said he had drifted apart from Tandy in the past few years.

“He had his issues away from the field over the past three or four years and they look like they have caught up with him. It is just sad,” Turner said.

“We talk about mental health issues in professional sport.

“I wonder if in rugby league we are doing enough to support our players.”

Tandy played 36 NRL matches for St George Illawarra, South Sydney, Wests Tigers, Melbourne and Canterbury from 2003 to 2010.

He also played for five clubs in England and represented Ireland at the 2008 World Cup.

Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious.

Dani Alves and a banana

Dani Alves answered fans' attempts to taunt him during Barcelona's 3-2 victory over Villarreal... by enjoying a mid-match snack at the Estadio El Madrigal.
In scenes that thankfully haven't been seen in this country since the turn of the century, a banana was thrown on to the pitch while the Brazilian defender prepared to take a corner.
But, instead of letting the the incident get to him, Alves calmly picked up the offending fruit, unpeeled it and took a hasty mouthful before carrying on with the game - bananas after all contain high levels of potassium that give athletes energy.

In fact, the 30-year-old commented after the game: 'I don't know who threw the banana but I want to thank him. It gave me the energy to put two more crosses in for our goals.'

The Catalans had the last laugh in a roller coaster match that saw the home side take a shock two goal lead before a pair of own goals and typical winner from a certain Lionel Messi gave them a 3-2 victory.
The Argentine pointed to the sky after his late goal - no doubt in honour of his former boss Tito Vilanova, who passed away aged 45 on Friday.
The victory takes Barcelona ahead of arch rivals Real Madrid in the La Liga table, although Los Blancos still have a game in hand, with both teams trailing surprise package Atletico Madrid who beat Valencia 1--0.
P.S. Alvez's Brazilian teammate Neymar appeared to lend his tongue-in-cheek support to his compatriot after the game by posting an Instagram picture of himself eating a banana, accompanied by the hashtag 'We are all monkeys'.
Alves' girlfriend Thaissa Carvalho then posted a picture of herself and others eating bananas with the hashtag #saynotoracism.

UFC 172 Result: Jon Jones

After another breathtaking performance at UFC 172: "Jones vs. Teixeira" last night (April 26, 2014) at Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, it's safe to say Jon Jones still has his work cut out for him in the light heavyweight division after dominating Glover Teixeira in his seventh consecutive title defense. "Bones" surely has a target on his back, but can anyone topple the gifted champion?

It's all just a little bit of history repeating itself.

At UFC 172: "Jones vs. Teixeira," which took place last night (Sat., April 26, 2014) at Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, the king of the light heavyweight division treated us to one of his most impressive performances yet.

Jon Jones successfully defended the light heavyweight strap against Glover Teixeira, brutalizing the Brazilian over the course of five rounds. You could say that Jones fought smart and didn't take any risks; however, he proved his dominance throughout the fight by mauling his opponent and tore him apart left, right, and center (highlights here).

It could have very well been Jones' best performance yet inside the Octagon, simply because he showed that he could break down a durable opponent rather than roll right through him. "Bones" had historical showings in the past against the likes of Mauricio Rua, Lyoto Machida and Vitor Belfort, to name a few, although his battle against the Pit-trained behemoth was a carefully calculated beating in which he showed great maturity and coming of age.

With Anderson Silva and Georges St. Pierre gone for an undetermined amount of time, the New Yorker isn't just the biggest star in UFC at this present time, but he's also the most important figure in the entire sport. Without Jones, things would be pretty bleak for the organization, even though Renan Barao and Ronda Rousey seem to be on the come up.

Having said that, it's pretty obvious who "Bones" could expect as his next title challenger and it's a foe he's all too familiar with.

Alexander Gustafsson was already confirmed to get the next crack at the title, guaranteed to face the winner of last night's duel and luckily for him, he can try to avenge his UFC 165 loss to the champion. Their fight in Toronto was the best light heavyweight title fight in UFC history and some pundits would argue it was the best championship clash that has ever taken place inside the Octagon. Jones was brought into deep waters, suffering the most damage he's ever faced in his UFC tenure. It was a tussle for the ages and quite frankly, it could be the biggest rematch in light heavyweight history.

Plus, let's credit both fighters for keeping the beef alive these past couple of months, too.

But, that's not all.

The winner of "Bones" vs. "The Mauler" will have his work cut out for him once the rematch is done, since it has been rumored that UFC 173's co-main event will be a title eliminator bout pitting Daniel Cormier against Dan Henderson in Las Vegas.

Although, with Anthony Johnson entering the fold after his win against Phil Davis last night, Dana White believes "Rumble" could be a solid match up for Cormier -- provided the former Strikeforce Grand Prix winner bests Henderson.

"DC" has never shied away from expressing his true feelings about the champion, solely because the Olympian believes he has the tools and the ability to defeat the light heavyweight phenomenon. His UFC 173 Olympic counterpart, Dan Henderson, also has unfinished business when it comes to the champion, since they were supposed to meet at UFC 151 -- which was canceled after "Hendo" suffered an MCL tear in his right knee.

It's safe to say all parties involved have a bone to pick with each other and plans are still up in the air once Jones finishes duking it out against the Swede. If the champ continues to outclass his opponents and improve while doing so, he could go down as one of the most gifted athletes to ever compete in combat sports.

Anyone disagree?

LeBron James: Miami Heat In Prime Position

Heat owner Micky Arison can’t stop tweeting about how compelling these NBA playoffs have played out in the first round.

“You have got to love the @NBA playoffs,” Arison tweeted on Sunday, a day after his team took a 3-0 lead against the Charlotte Bobcats.

He has recycled that proclamation just about every day since the playoffs started.

Another from his timeline: “The most competitive 1st Round of the @NBA playoffs that I can remember!”

With the Heat rolling and everyone else grinding, Arison can’t seem to put his smartphone away. Entering Sunday’s set of games, the Heat was the only team in complete control of its first-round series.

The Heat’s nemesis, the Indiana Pacers, are tied with the eighth-seeded Hawks 2-2. The Chicago Bulls, who have always given the Heat trouble in the playoffs, now trail the Washington Wizards 3-1 after a loss on Sunday.

In the West, the San Antonio

Spurs are down 2-1 to the eighth-seeded Dallas Mavericks. The Oklahoma City Thunder is tied with the Memphis Grizzlies at 2-2.

After a season of uncertainty quite unlike any other since LeBron James joined the Heat, all the breaks seem to be going the Heat’s way and Arison, like all Heat fans, simply can’t get enough.

In truth, the playoffs haven’t even started for the Heat. Its first-round series was over the second Bobcats center Al Jefferson injured his foot. Down 3-0 and with just one day to rest between Games 3 and 4, Jefferson might not even play Monday, and if he does, he will once again be limited.

Like everyone else associated with the Heat, Arison has felt more like a bystander in these first games of the 2014 playoffs than an active participant. While 15 other teams scratch and claw, the Heat has coasted through the first round and can now sweep the Bobcats with a victory Monday at Time Warner Cable Arena.

So there was Arison at the Heat’s practice on Sunday in Charlotte, walking confidently past his team and smiling. He casually shot a wave at James, and James returned a gesture in kind. It’s good to be the king, but it’s even better to have him on your team.

James, too, has enjoyed the ride so far. Given the luxury of an easy first-round series, he has projected himself into other first-round games elsewhere. He often finds himself wondering: “What would I do in that position?”

“I would make some different choices and different plays down the stretch looking at some of these games, but everyone is in the playoffs for a reason,” James said.

James then went on to say that he’s enjoying the playoffs so far because watching close games is a lot different than playing in them.

“I have no strain or stress watching those games,” he said.

James’ biggest concern with the Bobcats on the ropes is the health of his own team, and, in particular, the health of friend and fellow superstar Dwyane Wade. This time last year, Wade was nursing a painful knee injury. He went 1 of 12 from the field for four points in Game 3 of the Heat’s 2013 first-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks. Wade then sat out Game 4.

According to Heat coach Erik Spoelstra, there is no plan for Wade to sit out Game 4 against the Bobcats.

“His health is very key to our success,” James said. “And he feels extremely well right now and he’s playing well, and we need that. We all came together for a reason, and it was not for one guy or two guys to sit out or anyone to be out. It was for all of us to go out there and make contributions to help this team win and for this team to be successful.”

With Wade, James knows the good times can change suddenly and that these NBA playoffs have only just begun.

THIS AND THAT

James now has 21 30-point, 10-rebound, five-assist playoff games, breaking an NBA record shared by Elgin Baylor, per the Elias Sports Bureau.

James’ averages through three games of the playoffs: 29.7 points, 8.9 rebounds, five assists, two steals and three turnovers. He is shooting 56.9 percent from the field and 40 percent from three-point range. James is also averaging 10.7 free-throw attempts per season.

• The Heat committed just seven turnovers in Game 3. Since 2011, the Heat is 15-4 in the postseason when committing 10 or fewer turnovers in games, according to Elias.

“We understand that stat,” point guard Norris Cole said. “We know that stat. We love that stat.”

• Chris Bosh is shooting 72.7 percent (8 of 11) from three-point range in the first three games of the playoffs, but he downplayed that stat on Sunday.

“I’m wide open,” Bosh said. “I’m usually standing still. I’m not really moving too much on the shots, so I kind of expect it to go in. I’m kind of a perfectionist when it comes to jump shooting, so I’m happy for the consistency.”

Bosh has evolved into such a consistent three-point threat since he won his first championship in 2012 that when he steps out beyond the arc now it is no longer a novelty. Bosh was 15 of 37 from three-point range (40.5 percent) in the 2013 playoffs. In his first run to the championship with the Heat in the 2012 postseason, Bosh was 7 of 13 from three-point-range.

“I’ll continue to space the floor, but at the same time … attack the rim and get to the line,” Bosh said. “I try to make the defense hesitant to double LeBron and Dwyane down there in the post, and if they do double them, then we got to make them pay. I just try to have a heavy arsenal of moves to be able to go to at any given moment.”

DJ Rashad dead: May be Drug Overdose

Rashad Harden, a house music and footwork pioneer who performed as DJ Rashad, was found dead over the weekend in Chicago of an apparent drug overdose, authorities said Sunday. He was 34.

Chicago Police spokeswoman Janel Sedevic said a friend found Harden's body Saturday afternoon in an apartment on the city's West Side. She said that there was no sign of injury but that narcotics and drug paraphernalia were found near his body. An autopsy was scheduled for Sunday, but the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office declined to comment further on Sunday morning.

Harden's death comes just days before his EP was scheduled for release and less than a month after fellow house music house music star Frankie Knuckles also died the city.

Harden, a resident of nearby Calumet City, was poised for a breakout year, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. His fifth album was his best reviewed, he was scheduled to play clubs all over the world, and on Monday, his latest EP, We On 1, was scheduled to be released.

"It's just a tragic loss of a great musical genius," said longtime friend and collaborator Morris Harper, who performs as DJ Spinn and who was scheduled to appear Saturday night with Rashad in Detroit.

Rashad was considered a pioneer of footwork – an electronic oriented music genre that originated in Chicago. Once known as juke, footwork is named for its quick dance moves and is known for what Rolling Stone calls a "frenzied and hypnotic style of dance music that features heart-racing BPMs and, often, chopped-up loops of popular rap, R&B and pop vocals."

The Sun-Times reports that Rashad's fifth LP, Double Cup, which came out last year, is credited with attracting a wider audience to footwork music.

"He shared his music with everyone that would listen," Harden's father, Anthony Harden, told the Sun-Times. "He's been all over the world, taking footwork all over the world."

Barac Obama On Donald Sterling Race Scandal

President Barack Obama has condemned comments allegedly made by the owner of a major US basketball team.

Donald Sterling, who owns National Basketball Association (NBA) side the Los Angeles Clippers, is accused of using racist language when talking privately to his girlfriend.

In a recording of the conversation, which appeared on the website TMZ Sports, a male voice said to be Mr Sterling questions his girlfriend's association with what he calls minorities.

Mr Sterling purportedly goes on to demand his girlfriend, named by the website as V Stiviano, should not bring black people to games played by his team.

He reportedly also tells Ms Stiviano, who is of mixed black and Hispanic ancestry, that she should not post pictures of herself with black people, including NBA legend Magic Johnson, on social media site Instagram.

The comments have ignited widespread anger in the US, where a large number of the NBA's players are black.

Mr Obama said the reported comments were "incredibly offensive racist statements".

Speaking in Malaysia, where he is on a state visit, he said: "We constantly have to be on guard on racial attitudes that divide us rather than embracing our diversity as a strength.

"The United States continues to wrestle with the legacy of race and slavery and segregation that's still there; the vestiges of discrimination.

"We've made enormous strides, but you're going to continue to see this percolate up every so often.

"And I think that we just have to be clear and steady in denouncing it, teaching our children differently, but also remaining hopeful that part of why statements like this stand out so much is because there has been this shift in how we view ourselves."

Los Angeles Clippers players also signalled their displeasure at the comments, by warming up for their match on Sunday wearing their team kits inside-out in protest.

In the recording posted on TMZ, the male voice said to be Mr Sterling says: "It bothers me that you want to … broadcast that you’re associating with black people."

The man specifically mentions former Lakers legend Magic Johnson on the recording, saying: "Don't bring him to my games, OK?"

"How about your whole life, everyday, you could do whatever you want … The little I ask you is not to promote it on that (Instagram) and not to bring them to any games…

"I'm just saying, in your lousy ******* Instagrams, you don't have to have yourself walking with black people."

Mr Obama said he was confident NBA commissioner Adam Silver would address the matter.

He said the NBA had "an awful lot of African American players, it's steeped in African American culture and I suspect that the NBA is going to be deeply concerned in resolving this".

Magic Johnson responded on Twitter, writing: "I will never go to a Clippers game again as long as Donald Sterling is the owner."

Mr Silver has said the NBA needs to confirm authenticity of the audio tape and interview both Mr Sterling and the woman in the recording. He called the tape "disturbing and offensive" and promised to investigate quickly.

A statement issued to TMZ by Mr Sterling and the Clippers said they did not know if the tape was legitimate or had been altered.

The statement says: "Mr Sterling is emphatic that what is reflected on that recording is not consistent with, nor does it reflect his views, beliefs or feelings.

"He feels terrible that such sentiments are being attributed to him and apologises to anyone who might have been hurt by them."

DAN BILZERIAN BREAKS NAKED PORN STAR's FOOT

"Instagram's Biggest Playboy" can add Instagram's biggest dumbass to his resume -- the guy threw a FULLY NAKED porn star off the roof of a Hollywood Hills mansion into a pool ... breaking her foot in the process ... and it was all caught on tape.

Dan Bilzerian -- a millionaire pro poker player famous for his extravagant IG photos -- was doing a shoot for Hustler magazine on Wednesday with 19-year-old Janice Griffith when he got the brilliant idea to cup Griffith's vagina ... and throw her headfirst into the pool. From the roof.
Needless to say, things didn't go as planned -- Janice later tweeted from the hospital, "I broke my foot today."

You have to see the video to see how epically stupid this is.

If only the Darwin Awards offered consolation prizes.

Sandy Jardine Dead

Manager Ally McCoist said: ‘There have been many great names associated with Rangers Football Club in our 142 year history and Sandy is a Rangers legend in every sense of the word.
‘We are all devastated by the news he has passed away, we have lost a great man today.
‘I had the privilege of watching Sandy playing for Rangers when I was a young boy, I had enjoyed the pleasure of working closely with him since I returned to the club in 2007 and he was a truly remarkable human being.
‘His achievements both on and off the pitch are second to none and I was honoured to regard him as a friend.
‘He gave everything for this great club and worked tirelessly in a number of roles because he wanted to ensure the traditions, history and standards at Ranger were maintained.
‘He as respected not only be Rangers fans but also the wider football community and he is a huge loss to the game. We will never see his like again in the modern era.’

Jardine played in various defensive positions under manager Davie White before finally establishing himself at right back.
His first major honour came when he was part of the side who won the 1970 League Cup final but his most famous moment came as part of the side which defeated Dynamo Moscow in the 1972 Cup Winners’ Cup Final – a glorious campaign in which he featured in every match.
After leaving Ibrox in 1982, the Scotland international moved to Hearts where he eventually became joint manager alongside former Ibrox team-mate Alex MacDonald.
He subsequently returned to Ibrox to work in a public relations capacity.

Parks and Recreation

"Parks and Recreation" ended its sixth season last night with a ton of guest stars. As promised, the Pawnee/Eagleton Unity Concert hosted several artists: Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, the Decemberists, Yo La Tengo, and Ginuwine all appeared. Watch the entire episode below.
Wilco's Jeff Tweedy played the frontman of the reunited band Land Ho!. (He also appeared on a previous episode.) At the end of the concert, every artist came on stage for an all-star jam of "Five Thousand Candles in the Wind", the anthemic tribute to Pawnee's favorite deceased miniature horse, Li'l Sebastian. And in one of the show's most incredible moments, a Li'l Sebastian hologram makes an appearance.
Ginuwine performed "Pony" in honor of Li'l Sebastian (in front of two giant Li'l Sebastian banners). Showrunner Michael Schur told Entertainment Weekly that he loved the idea of "a revisionist history where the reason he wrote it was because of his love for Li’l Sebastian".
Before the Decemberists performed "The Crane Wife 3", Colin Meloy said that the bun on his Pawnee hamburger was two full pizzas.
Yo La Tengo dressed up as Indiana University coach Bobby Knight and performed Night Ranger's "Sister Christian". The band was called, awesomely, Bobby Knight Ranger. There was also a set from the 1990s alt-rock band Letters to Cleo—Ben Wyatt (Adam Scott) is a huge fan. And naturally, a few fictional Pawnee artists were in the mix as well: Johnny Karate, Mouse Rat, and saxophone legend Duke Silver all performed.
Matador also pointed out one significant Yo La Tengo/"Parks and Rec" crossover: Amy Poehler appeared on the cover of the band's 2000 7" "You Can Have It All".
